General & U.S. Buyers
Do you ship to the United States?
+
Yes. We ship across the United States, including Texas and the Dallas–Fort Worth metro. Equipment is made to order in our Alberta, Canada facility and ships by freight, and smaller parts (patch kits, swing seats) ship as parcels. Add items to a Quote List and we will confirm freight to your site.
Which of your products can I install myself?
+
Our self-install line — park benches, picnic tables, trash receptacles, bike racks, gaga ball pits, campfire rings, outdoor whiteboards, replacement swing seats, resilient wear mats, and pour-in-place patch kits — ships direct and is assembled or set in place on site by your own team or a local contractor. No specialized playground-installation crew is required.
Are your products compliant with U.S. safety standards?
+
Yes. Every unit meets or exceeds ASTM F1487 (the U.S. public-playground standard), CAN/CSA-Z614, and U.S. CPSC guidelines. Blue Imp manufacturing is ISO 9001:2015 certified and an IPEMA member with IPEMA-certified products.
Do I need a contractor or special crew to install a self-install product?
+
For most self-install items, no. Steel amenities bolt together with tamper-resistant hardware and basic hand tools; in-ground models set into concrete footings per the supplied drawings, and surface-mount models anchor to an existing pad. Maintenance items like swing seats and patch kits install with no contractor at all.
Is pricing shown in U.S. or Canadian dollars?
+
Both. Use the CA/US toggle in the site header to switch the displayed currency; the site also auto-detects your country on your first visit. Most equipment is quote-based with budget tiers shown, while priced parts display an exact price. For a firm U.S. quote, add items to a Quote List.
What do your listed prices include?
+
Listed prices are unit prices only — the cost of the equipment itself. Taxes, shipping, brokerage (on cross-border U.S. orders), and installation are quoted separately and added to your order. Request a quote and we will confirm the delivered, all-in cost to your site.
How long does delivery take?
+
Equipment is made to order in Alberta, so lead time depends on the item and the current production schedule — request a quote and we will confirm timing. Smaller parts and maintenance items ship faster than large freight equipment.
Do you serve the Dallas–Fort Worth area?
+
Yes. We ship self-install products throughout Texas and the Dallas–Fort Worth metro and are expanding our U.S. presence there. Parks & recreation departments, school districts, churches, camps, campgrounds, HOAs, and municipalities are all typical buyers.
What warranty do your products carry?
+
Blue Imp's Play Strong warranty covers steel support posts and stainless-steel hardware for life, with graduated coverage on other materials (for example, 20 years on stainless components, 15 on steel and aluminum, 10 on plastic slides and vinyl-coated parts). Ask us for the warranty specific to a product.
By Product
Do you ship the Campfire Ring to the U.S.?
+
Yes. The Campfire Ring is made to order in Alberta and ships by freight across the United States, including Texas and the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Request a quote and we'll confirm freight to your site.
Can we install the campfire ring ourselves?
+
Yes. It ships ready to position on a prepared, non-combustible base and anchor in place — no specialized installation crew or heavy equipment required.
What is the Campfire Ring made of?
+
It is fabricated from heavy 1/4" steel plate with a heat-resistant finish for years of outdoor service at campgrounds, group-camp sites, and park fire-pit areas.
Can I put my own text, logo, or message on the panel?
+
Yes. The Double Sided Custom Panel is built to carry your custom text, logo, or wayfinding message — your artwork is CNC-routered directly into the panel and is visible from both sides.
How small can the text or detail be on a custom routered panel?
+
Because the artwork is cut with an approximately 1/4" (6 mm) router bit, lettering and line work should keep a minimum stroke width and spacing of about 1/4". Bold, clean fonts and simple graphics reproduce beautifully, while very fine serifs or hairline details cannot be routered. Our design team will adapt your artwork to suit.
What is the panel made of and how durable is it?
+
The panel is a 19 mm (3/4") high-density, UV-stabilized polyethylene (HDPE) sheet — PVC-free and lead-free. It stands up to rough play, vandalism, and Canadian weather extremes without fading, and mounts on two galvanized-steel posts using Blue Imp's tamper-resistant IMPut direct-bolt connection system.
What size is the panel and what warranty does it carry?
+
The panel measures 2'8" wide by 3'5" high (813 x 1041 mm). It is proudly made in Alberta, Canada by Blue Imp and carries the Play Strong warranty: 5 years on plastic panels and a lifetime warranty on the steel support posts.
Do you ship the GaGa Ball Pit to the United States?
+
Yes. The GaGa Ball Pit is built to order in our Alberta, Canada facility and ships by freight across the United States, including the Dallas–Fort Worth metro and the rest of Texas. Add it to a Quote List and we'll confirm freight cost and lead time to your site.
Can we install the gaga ball pit ourselves, without a crew?
+
Yes — it's designed for self-installation. The octagon panels bolt to the posts on site with Blue Imp's tamper-resistant IMPut hardware using basic hand tools, and the posts set into concrete footings per the included drawings. Most teams complete the install in a day, with no specialized playground installer required.
Is the GaGa Ball Pit safe and standards-compliant for schools and parks?
+
Yes. It is commercial-grade and meets CAN/CSA-Z614 and ASTM F1487, and conforms to U.S. CPSC public-playground guidelines. The frame is 1-1/2" square steel tubing with 1/4" laser-cut aluminum gates and tamper-resistant stainless-steel hardware, built for public, high-traffic use at schools, churches, camps, and parks.
What is the difference between the metal and wood gaga ball pits?
+
The standard GaGa Ball Pit uses a powder-coated steel-and-aluminum panel system, while the GaGa Ball Pit (Wood) uses framed timber panels for a natural look, with a wheelchair-accessible door option available. All versions share the same octagon footprint and the same self-install, bolt-together design.
Do you ship bike racks to the United States?
+
Yes. Bike racks ship across the United States, including Texas and the Dallas–Fort Worth metro. They are made to order in Alberta; request a quote and we'll confirm freight to your site.
Can we install the bike rack ourselves?
+
Yes — bike racks are a simple self-install. Depending on the model they either surface-mount to a concrete pad with anchors or set in-ground into footings; both are well within a maintenance team's or contractor's scope.
Is the bike rack built for commercial use?
+
Yes. It is commercial-grade, powder-coated steel built for public, high-traffic settings at schools, parks, transit stops, and municipal facilities.
Do you ship the Outdoor Whiteboard to the U.S.?
+
Yes. The Outdoor Whiteboard with Locking Roll Shutter is made to order in Alberta and ships by freight across the United States, including Texas and the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
Can we install the outdoor whiteboard ourselves?
+
Yes. The board mounts on two 4" x 4" powder-coated steel posts that set into concrete footings — a straightforward self-install your own team or contractor can complete using the included drawings.
What is the locking roll shutter for?
+
The locking roll-shutter protects the writing surface from weather and vandalism when the board is not in use, making it well suited to schoolyards, outdoor classrooms, and park programming spaces.
Do you ship park benches to the U.S.?
+
Yes. Park benches ship by freight across the United States, including Texas and the Dallas–Fort Worth area. They are made to order in Alberta; add the bench to a Quote List and we'll confirm freight.
Can park benches be installed without a crew?
+
Yes. Benches are available in in-ground and surface-mount (base-plated) versions, and both are designed for self-installation — set the in-ground legs in concrete, or anchor the base plates to an existing pad. No specialized crew required.
What are the benches made of?
+
They are commercial-grade steel with a durable vinyl or powder-coat finish for long outdoor service, suitable for parks, schoolyards, campuses, and streetscapes.
Do you ship the Pour-in-Place Patch Kit to the United States?
+
Yes. The Pour-in-Place Patch Kit ships across the United States, including Texas and the Dallas–Fort Worth area. It is a small-parcel item, so it typically ships faster than large equipment.
Can we repair our rubber surfacing ourselves with this kit?
+
Yes — the kit is made for in-house repairs. It lets your maintenance team patch worn or damaged spots in poured-in-place rubber safety surfacing without hiring a surfacing contractor: prepare the area, mix, trowel in, and allow to cure per the instructions.
What does the patch kit repair?
+
It repairs poured-in-place (PIP) rubber playground and pathway surfacing — filling cracks, gouges, and high-wear spots to keep the surface safe, accessible, and compliant between full resurfacing cycles.
What sizes and prices are available?
+
The kit comes in two sizes for different repair areas. US-dollar pricing is shown when your store is set to the United States; contact us for volume or recurring-maintenance pricing.
Do you ship resilient wear mats to the U.S.?
+
Yes. Resilient wear mats ship across the United States, including Texas and the Dallas–Fort Worth metro. They are made to order in Alberta; request a quote and we'll confirm freight.
Are wear mats a self-install item?
+
Yes. Wear mats are self-install — they sit in the high-wear zones under swings and at slide exits to protect the safety surfacing. Your team positions and secures them per the instructions; no contractor is needed.
What do resilient wear mats do?
+
They protect loose-fill and unitary safety surfacing from the heavy wear that builds up under swings and at slide exits, reducing displacement, ruts, and trip hazards and extending the life of your surfacing.
Do you ship replacement swing seats to the United States?
+
Yes. Replacement swing seats ship across the United States, including Texas and the Dallas–Fort Worth area. They are compact parcel items, so they ship faster than large equipment.
Can we replace a swing seat ourselves?
+
Yes — swapping a swing seat is a routine self-install maintenance job. Remove the worn seat and attach the new one to your existing swing chains or hangers with the supplied hardware; no specialized installer is required.
What types of swing seats are available?
+
Options include flat belt seats, full-bucket and tot seats for younger children, and accessible seats. Tell us your hanger and chain type and we'll confirm the correct replacement.
Are the swing seats standards-compliant?
+
Yes. Seats are commercial-grade and built to meet CAN/CSA-Z614 and ASTM F1487 for public playground use.
