Buying a Playground: Pricing, Lead Times & Installation FAQ

How pricing, quotes, lead times, installation, and warranty work when you buy a commercial playground from BDI Play Designs.

Planning a playground means thinking about budget, timelines, and who installs it. Here are the questions we hear most often during the buying process.

How much does a commercial playground cost?

Pricing is project-based — there are no public list prices, because every playground is configured to a specific site, age range, and budget. You build a Quote List from our catalog and submit it, and we prepare a custom quote. Budget tiers are shown on many products to help you plan.

How do I get a quote?

Browse the catalog, add the items you like to your Quote List, and submit it through the site — or contact us directly. We'll review your site, goals, and budget, then return a tailored quote.

What are typical lead times?

Lead times vary by product, customization, and the time of year you order. Because our equipment is manufactured in Alberta, domestic production often means shorter shipping than imported alternatives. We'll confirm timelines with your quote.

Do you install the playground?

We provide professional installation within our regional on-site service area — Southern Alberta and Eastern BC. Elsewhere in Canada we ship your equipment and work with a network of sales representatives who can help coordinate local installation.

What warranty comes with your equipment?

Blue Imp's Play Strong warranty covers components on a tiered basis — including lifetime coverage on steel support posts and stainless-steel hardware, 20 years on stainless components, 15 years on steel and aluminum, and 10 years on plastic slides, with shorter terms on other materials. We'll provide the full warranty details for the products you choose.
