As the authorized Blue Imp distributor for Eastern BC, we design, supply, and install commercial playgrounds, shelters, and park amenities across the corridor — from the Elk Valley through Cranbrook and Kimberley, up the Columbia Valley to Invermere and Radium, and west to Creston — with CSA Z614 inspections and maintenance to match.

Unlike regions where we ship equipment only, the East Kootenays get the complete BDI service: needs assessment and grant support, custom design and layout, Blue Imp equipment supply, COR-certified installation, engineered surfacing, CSA Z614 inspections by our in-house Certified Canadian Playground Inspector (CCPI), and ongoing parts and maintenance.
We’re based just over the divide near Lethbridge, Alberta — close enough that Kootenay schools, municipalities, and community groups get the same crews, timelines, and after-sale support as our Southern Alberta neighbours.

Do you handle playground inspections and maintenance in the Kootenays?

Yes. We provide CSA Z614 playground inspections through our in-house Certified Canadian Playground Inspector (CCPI), plus repairs, replacement parts, and surfacing maintenance — the same full-service support we provide across Southern Alberta.
Which standards does your equipment meet?

Every play structure meets CAN/CSA-Z614 and ASTM F1487 and is IPEMA-certified through our manufacturing partner. Blue Imp equipment is Canadian-made with galvanized steel posts, powder-coat finishes, and stainless-steel slides built for mountain winters.
How far do you travel for Kootenay projects?
