SteelCore Flying Fin

Price Range: Under $10,000CAD

The SteelCore Flying Fin (SC2552) is a freestanding playground net climber designed and engineered by BDI Play Designs in Alberta, Canada. A 16-foot-wide arch of 5-inch steel pipe leans at an angle to just over 9 feet high, strung with 20 mm steel-core playground rope in a radiating web around a central 3-foot stainless-steel ring. Kids have fun trying to keep their balance as they make their way across the angled net, or use it as a perch point to hang out with their friends, and several children can climb at once. The Flying Fin installs in-ground on concrete pilings and is designed to CSA Z614-20. Pair it with the SteelCore DreamWeaver™ or SteelCore Typhoon for a complete SteelCore rope-climbing zone.
