Yes. BDI Play Designs designs, supplies, and installs spray parks and splash pads for Alberta municipalities, community associations, and campgrounds. Completed community pads include Cardston Rotary Park, Fort Macleod Centennial Park, Foremost, and Edgerton, and we relocated the Waterton Park playground and spray park in 2019. Our home service territory is Southern Alberta and Eastern BC, with spray features shipped across Canada and the US.

The terms are used interchangeably: a zero-depth water play area with no standing water, where ground sprays, dumping buckets, and interactive features run on a timed or activated system. Because there is no standing water, most Alberta installations avoid the lifeguard requirements of a pool while still giving communities an all-ages summer destination.

Yes — every spray park we supply is specified for Canadian climates: features and plumbing are winterized for freeze-thaw prairie conditions, and surfacing and layouts follow accessible, all-ages design so toddlers, older kids, and adults with mobility aids can all use the pad. Equipment is commercial-grade and engineered for municipal duty cycles.

Splash pad budgets depend on the number of spray features, the water system (potable flow-through, recirculating, or reclaim), pad size, and site services. BDI quotes each project individually rather than publishing list prices — tell us your community, budget range, and site, and we will propose feature packages to fit. Many Southern Alberta pads are community- or service-club-funded projects, and we are used to working within grant timelines.
